Dimitris is a highly experienced finance professional with strong expertise in corporate governance, audit management, compliance and operational matters across a wide range of corporate structures and jurisdictions.

For the past 6 years, Dimitris was a member of the Board of Directors at the EBRD, where he also acted as the Vice Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee (2023-2025).

Dimitris is also acting as independent non-executive Board member at private sector entities and fund vehicles for private equity sponsors. Prior to joining the EBRD, Dimitris held various positions with investment banks and family offices for almost 20 years, originating and structuring capital markets transactions for clients.

Dimitris has a Master’s in Finance from London Business School and he received his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, while he conducted his Diploma work at ETH Zurich in Nuclear Engineering.

He has also completed the International Directors Programme at INSEAD and holds the INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance.
